Captains Sofa

The Sofa is situated in the Captains dayroom and is in very good condition.

The sofa is green in colour with gold crests all over.

The diemensions are Length: 66ins (168cm), Width 35ins (89cm) and Height 39ins (99cm)

The ship was decomissioned in 2006 and this item has not been used since.

 

A BRIEF HISTORY

RFA Grey Rover was one of three small fleet support tankers in the RFA flotilla. She was built by Swan Hunter Ship  Builders and went into service in 1970. Her primary role was to replenish Royal Navy ships with fuel, lubricants, fresh water and dry cargo. She was decommissioned in 2006 and is now being recycled by Leavesley International.

This is a genuine item from RFA Grey Rover A269 and comes with a certificate of authenticity (posted seperately).
