REVOX B77 Professional Studio Reel-To-Reel TAPE RECORDER by Studer

My recording studio clearout continues with this Revox B77 analogue tape recorder
Made by Willi Studer GmbH in Germany
Great for capturing those retro analogue sounds

Condition:
This machine is in well used condition and pretty good working order
I have tested it and it records and plays back very well
The heads appear to be OK - I gave them a clean
Tape speeds are spot on
It winds a full 10 inch spool very quickly in both directions and stops neatly at the end of the tape so the brakes work well too

HOWEVER there are some issues to mention:
1] the tape counter is not working [presumably it needs a belt?]
2] the right channel record selector toggle switch has been snapped off [it is set to on]
3] a red over-level warning lamp in one of the VU meters does not light

Cosmetically there are a plenty of scuff marks and scratches to the soft grey finish on the cabinet
But the fascia of the machine is in really nice presentable condition
So if you can give it a service it, this will be a real bargain
