1960's armchair

Lovely mid-century armchair with an exotic afrormosia frame, a similar type of wood to teak but with a darker richer grain and colour. The chair has been professionally reupholstered with beautiful grey/black weave fabric and very comfortable cushion inners. The webbing has been replaced with quality pireli straps. This armchair gives the best of both worlds, teaming a vintage frame with new upholstery, like buying a brand new armchair only better!

Condition is very good. As the upholstery has been newly made it is of course in mint condition. The frame, dating from the 1960's, does of course show signs of age and some scuffing/little dinks to the feet, but this simply adds to the overal appearance. The frame has been cleaned and polished so is ready to take pride of place in any interior. Any minor marks have been clearly photographed so please see these for the best description.

Customers are always welcome to collect their purchase from our Peterborough warehouse, please call or email to make an appointment.

This item can also be delivered for free anywhere in mainland England & Wales. Delivery usually takes place within 21 days, however this can be longer depending on area and our couriers route plans. For Scotland please email for a quote.

We use a third party courier for deliveries. Once we have booked in the delivery with them they will then take responsibility for making all subsequent arrangements, we do not have a say in the delivery days and times that they are able to offer. The couriers will aim to make contact via email within a couple of days of the booking taking place to advise of possible delivery dates for your area. As with most couriers the company we use cover different parts of the country on set days as part of well established routes, while they will try to accommodate any time/day restrictions a degree of flexibility on the customers part is neccessary. Delivery is a one man kerbside service, assistance is required at the point of delivery to unload. If assistance is not provided/possible then the delivery may not be able to take place for large items. The couriers will provide a two hour delivery slot around 2-4 days in advance of delivery.

Customers are also welcome to make arrangements for delivery with an alternative courier if prefered. However, as delivery is offered for free on this item we are not able to offer a discount on the purchase price.

1: Cash on collection is perfectly acceptable 2: If an item is being posted out or delivered by courier then payment should be made via paypal. 3: We can also accept payment by personal cheque, however please email in advance to confirm details.
