RENOVATIO '50s Pickup Set / for Fender Stratocaster

This is custom made by Renovatio pickup set for sale. It is made to the original ‘50s specs. Hand winding gives this pickups very rich harmonics, which is not possible to get with the mass production and machine winding. Black vulcanised fibre bobbins, heavy formvar magnetic wire, alnico 5 staggered magnets, vintage cloth hook-up wire. That’s the same parts as been used on original ‘50s single coils, they are expensive this days and becoming very rare to find. But that’s the only way to recreate this clean edgy Stratocaster tone, which is become a legend.

This pickup set is hand made in England from high quality materials using hand winding technique. Each pickup has a unique character with reach harmonics and worm mellow tone.

Pickup is double potted in special mixture of wax to reduce unwonted feedback and microphonics.

This pickup set has been calibrated and match for the balanced tone. Each pickup not just made to the specs, but individually measured to give you the individual pickup specs, so you can clearly see what kind of tone to expect from it. Middle pickup has reversed winding and reversed polarity to give a hum cancelling in positions two and four.
