REGENCY STYLE HAND CARVED NEST OF TABLES/c1950
Here is something that is very useful, especially when space is at a premium. It is a nest of 3 tables, so can be used just as one side table most of the time but then, when guests are around there's an extra 2 tables tucked underneath. The good thing about this set of tables is that they are highly decorative, not like the usual ones you see which are mostly just plain. Hand carved out of mahogany, they have a walnut inlay on the tops which is recessed to fit a slab of thick glass, so that you can't damage them with hot cups or anything. They were custom made in the 1960's in a Regency style, and were made by a company called 'Rose' in the East end of London. All the tables have beautiful hand carved and pierced foliate and fan design aprons under the tops, which extend down the top part of the slightly cabriole legs, ending in little plain paw feet. In excellent condition.
The largest table is 21.75in (55cm) high x 21.5in (54.5cm) wide x 16.5in (42xm) deep.

At Frockabilia / EurobiliaUK.Antiques we have one simple aim; to sell good quality antique pieces at competitive prices. .
We are located near Hampstead Heath in Central London; we sell small to medium sized pieces of period furniture and collectables, mostly items that we consider to be useful in the home as well as decorative. We hope that if we love them, then so will you. They range from the Georgian, Regency, Victorian, Art Nouveau, Arts & Crafts, Edwardian and Art Deco periods. .
Most of our items are Antiques and minor blemishes are normal due to age (Some items are over 100 years old, so perfection is impossible). All auction descriptions are honest, accurate, detailed and have many pictures, if the item has a flaw we try to show a picture so you will know exactly what you are bidding on. But please remember that there is normal wear and tear, and it is not always possible to show that. We take a great deal of trouble over transporting our items, whether they are large or small. The large pieces of furniture, which go by road, are carefully handled by expert delivery drivers and the smaller pieces are packed very carefully, with lots of packing materials - the more fragile they are, the more packing and care they receive.
