Do you hunt vermin or small game with an Air Rifle or Pistol? Or play Paintball or other combat games and you want to hit your target every time you squeeze your trigger? Yes...Then this is exactly what you need to get.

  • You look through the sight and see the red dot on your target. The target and anybody else cannot see the dot so do not know they are being targeted.
    • .That it what is meant by Red Dot sight - The sight projects a red dot onto the inside of the lens that only you can see.
    • It is NOT a laser sight that projects a visible dot that can be seen by all.

  • What this all means is that you can look fast and acquire your targets at reflex speed - And get your shot off before they have a chance to react.
    • It means that Red dots are fantastic short range and reaction shooting sights.
    • They are NOT though longer distance or telescopic sights. There is NO magnification. For that see my eBay shop where I have many telescopic sight scopes.

Red Dot Features

  • 2 Intensity settings to suit normal daylight and lower light

  • "Open eye" design means you can have both eyes open when aiming. This helps a lot with your speed and reaction shooting capability. Perfect when you need to snap shoot.

  • Lens size (Objective as it is called) : 19mm - Excellent short range field of view

  • Fitted mounts: To suit all air rifles, pistols, airsoft and paintball guns with 9-13mm wide sight rails (measure if unsure or see guide below)

Dimensions - Please read!

  • For 9-13mm wide standard width rifle bases - NOT FOR 20mm wide Weaver - Picatinny - RIS - RAS etc!
  • Effective Range: Theoretically infinity as it is a 1:1 so the limit of your eyesight focus. In action I'd call it very accurate for reflex shooting out to 50 metres. Beyond this range it depends on your eyesight, shooting position and how steady a shot you are.

  • Materials - Metal base, plastic body.
  • Length: 11.5 cm (4.5 inches)

  • Weight: approx. 50 grams (0.05 Kg) 

  • Height: 5cm (2 inches)

Sight Fitting Requirements - PLEASE READ!!!

If in doubt measure across the top of your rifle to make sure or go to http://www.zeroriflescope.co.uk/What_Rifle_scope_Mounts_.html where there is an illustrated guide.
  • A grooved/dovetail scope rail between 9-13mm wide - This means 99% of air rifles, pistols and paintball guns.

  • If unsure measure your rail across, if it's 20mm+ then this won't fit. You need a scope with weaver mounts. See my ebay shop for telescopic scopes that can be bought with weaver mounts.
  • Paintball guns -  I get asked about the Tippmann A5 a lot for this sight so here is the answer. If you have a different paintball gun then read and compare.

    • In most cases yes it will fit the A5 - The A5 has an HK MP5 type sight rail on top that is either standard - 3/8” (9-13mm) wide or weaver (20mm) wide. These distances refer to the distance between the 2 grooves that run along the top of the gun body.
    • So check your sight grooves on top of the gun first. Most will be 3/8" which is generally called Standard. 20mm wide Weaver types are too wide for this sight which has fixed standard only. If you do have weaver then I don't have a red dot to suit but you might consider one of my telescopic sights like the 4x32 short mated up with weaver mounts.

  • The important thing with paintball guns is the hopper position on top. If it is a vertical feed then there will be no line of sight so a sight of any type will not work

  • If it is offset then have a look down the body of the gun and ask yourself if a sight that's sitting say 2 inches off the gun, give you line of sight OK.
