We have been selling Mail Order Cakes on EBay since 2006. We bake each cake freshly to order. Unlike a lot of food sellers on EBay, we are fully insured, trained and registered to sell our produce!

Rebecca’s Cakes DIY Cupcake Kits – Makes 12 Large Cupcakes

Cupcakes don’t travel well so why not make your own using our new DIY Cupcake kits! Great for parties, taking to work and birthdays!

*All Mixes are Dairy Free, Egg Free and Vegan*

*Not available sugar free, wheat free or gluten free*

You will receive:

* Your dry cupcake mix, plus appropriate flavouring

* 12 Plain White Cupcake Cases

* Ready made frosting

* Sprinkles

* A piping bag

* Full instructions on how to make your cakes

To this YOU will need to add:

* Milk (of your choice)

* Vinegar (malt, cider, or white)

* Oil (vegetable, light olive, sunflower, corn - anything mild and 'tasteless')

* A Whisk, Mixing Bowl and Oven!

* A 12 Hole Cupcake/Muffin Pan

Firstly, pick your cake flavour:

Allergy/Dietary Advice

Please, please, please ask if you have an allergy just in case we’ve switched ingredients without notice! Don’t worry – we won’t ever put cow’s milk in a Vegan cake or anything like that – we just ask you to tell us in case you have any minor allergies that you think may not matter – please check with us!

I bake vegan, dairy free, egg free, gluten free, wheat free and soya free cakes. However I use all these ingredients in our kitchen so our cakes may not be suitable for those with severe allergies. We use nuts in our kitchen.

I am fully aware and competent dealing with all major allergies. Please feel free to contact us for any reassurance or questions.

Our Vegan Cakes are Registered with The Vegan Society and carry the Sunflower Logo!

Dispatch Time

Your order will be baked and dispatched within 48 hours.

If you need a cake for a specific day, please give me some notice if you can.

You will receive an automated email when your item has been dispatched.

Postage and Packing

Mixes are packed in plastic bags. They are then wrapped in tissue paper. I pack them in cardboard posting boxes. I secure the cake by packing the box out with plastic bubble wrap. All packaging is brand new. Our boxes are recyclable.

I post using Royal Mail 1^st Class Signed For or Royal Mail Guaranteed Next Day by 1pm Delivery.

The latter service is guaranteed so we highly recommend you purchase it if you need your cake for a special day!

If you would like another method of postage please just ask and we'll be glad to help!

I post Monday to Friday. I don’t post on the weekend as this prevents the cakes from sitting in a sorting office for too long.

Once we have handed your parcel over to Royal Mail we have NO CONTROL over delivery times! If your cake take longer than 1 day to arrive it is NOT OUR FAULT and that’s why we offer the guaranteed by 1pm service – please use it if you need it!

If for any reason your parcel doesn’t show we ALWAYS get proof of posting so we have the evidence if a claim needs to be filed.

Storage and ‘Eat By’ Date

The mix will be ok stored for up to two months. If you are not going to use your frosting straight away simply freeze it to keep it fresh and tasty.

Baked cupcakes will last for 4 Days. 

I don’t use any preservatives in any of my cakes so they will go stale pretty quickly if you don’t wrap and store them properly.

All cakes are sent with a postcard with the storage and ‘eat by’ details on it.

Can I send this to someone as a gift?

Yes you can. I can include a card free of charge. The post cards I use have my logo. As well as the name of the cake and the storage and ‘eat by’ details, there is also room for a message on the card. The cakes are also wrapped in coloured tissue paper which adds as a pretty touch when sending a gift.

Feedback

I will leave you feedback as soon as I receive your payment. I ask that you are prompt leaving feedback too. This lets me know that you have received your cake ok and as we are dealing with a perishable item, that you received it promptly.

I am a fair and honest seller. If you have any problems with your order I will do my up most to fix it. Please contact me and give me a chance before leaving negative feedback.
