this coat is authentic and genuine real red fox fur - very rare and a fabulous style from the 1960s i have a philosophy regarding genuine fox and what i feel is a valid arguement to those who says furs should not be worn our planet is in danger from over use of the earths natural resources - minerals and oil taken from deep down in the core recyled plastics - you know the story are all damaging the world we live in - many modern clothing is made from these precious reserves and that is why ebay and the whole recyling idea is the best to at least help this fragile planet on which we live the animals used in the creation of this incredibly stunning coat are long dead and it would be disrespectul not to wear them with pride and love and adore this coat we dont need to kill these creatures to provide new clothing but the older coats should be cherished and worn so its with that in mind that i am selling this coat and the few other natural furs which i have for sale really thick soft luxurious fur - two side pockets and a belt which is long with flared ends the sleeves of the coat are also flared quite wide and this would have been worn with long trailing hippy bellbottoms or long skirts or even a mini and high boots the collar is so thick and dense and when worn this coat will keep you looking stylish and really warm its beautiful and deserves to be worn - its even a fashion colour - orange and neon but these are the true colours of nature and this is real red fox and has not been dyed to look like this the fur is immaculate - no rips no dry patches on the skin no loose stitching no cracks nothing at all - well maybe inside - the lining is stitched and some of this has come loose and does need redone - its a hand job anyone could do - no rips or tears in the lining - just a few pulled threads - it actually serves to show that the reverse side of the skin is immaculate and almost fresh and supple - its approx 10 - 15 mins of a slow stitcher just following a line - really is not a defect no actual size tag but will fit a size 8 - its a perfect 10 - fits the 10 - 12 wearing it and could be ok an a size 12 too flared from the waist wraps round the front of your body- just one hook to close the coat around bust level - you dont need to close it and the very long belt with keep the coat firmly closed you need to love this coat and make it your own and a perfect gift - its thick soft luxurious pile - this is the very best of fur - dense and softer than silk or velvet
