This is the earliest Guinness export bottle I have ever seen, believe ca. 1890 to 1900, straight and right with labels and contents. Early tall applied blob top type dark green glass bottle, embossed R 13 on the base. Additionally, this old brewery bottle also has the original Dublin Ireland Guinness Labels on the front and reverse, contents and matching cork with label seal over that. One side has a single label that reads E & J Burke, Dublin, Extra Foreign Stout. The other side has two labels, the bottom one that reads Guinness’s Extra Stout James (gate?), Dublin, with the Harp. The label on top of the first is apparently the export label, reads Guinness’s Extra Foreign Stout, Established in Dublin 1849. In any case, this bottle is in great attic condition, no chips, or cracks, labels about 100%. Has some dirt and splashes, though all well readable on the labels.
