RARE WADE BROWN TURTLE WHIMSIE PROTOTYPE MINT PROTOTYPE on eBay (end time 28-Dec-09 22:32:58 GMT)

Here is a very rare LIGHT BROWN TURTLE WHIMSIE PROTOTYPE designed by William Harper for Wade England. This piece is a prototype so it is not mold marked, but it was purchased in the same lot as many prototypes that were signed in GOLD by William K. Harper on the bottom/back. Harper is known to have signed many of the larger prototypes in his personal collection, but not the smaller ones. I guarantee this is an authentic prototype. Whilliam Harper has been quoted as saying that the turtles were his favorite pieces he ever designed for Wade. The size and shape are a little off from the production model of these turtles. It is .55 inches tall by 1.6 inches long and 1.2 inch wide. It is in MINT condition, with no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs. I am selling other ultra rare George Wade animals and prototypes.
