Very unusual reverse carved galleon brooch dating, I believe, to the 1940s. The brooch is a square shape, with a galleon in full sail in the middle. The galleon is done in pink and blue with some little pink flags on the top and you can clearly see the rigging. Very pretty colours and unusual subject.  It is in good condition with a few feint scratches from wear. The brooch fastens with a vintage roll over clasp and measures approximately 3.9cms square.
