A complete and comprehensive pocket size (6" X 4") guide for the original Canon F-1 SLR Film Camera and accessories. Issued by the US Army in 1975 with a later supplement included, dated 1981, for still picture set KS-99C and NSN 6720-00-602-5099. This operator's manual covers everything from operational use of the camera to detailed information on using all the accessories. This camera manual is like no other in that it has interesting Army specific requirements for maintenance and use. There is also a troubleshooting section and numerous photos.

There has been considerable information published about the US Navy's film cameras but little is known about the US Army's use of these film camera sets. Some information I received showed these camera sets were in fact assigned to army special forces and were typically Canon F-1 or Nikon FE2 sets.

A fun little manual to have if you need good operating instructions and even if you do not own one of these cameras you might find that it is simply interesting military history.
