You are looking at a museum quality reproduction of a good size Theropod foot print from the Jurassic Period, Bathonian Stage, Scalby Formation (158 million years) of Yorkshire, UK.  Theropod foot prints from this part of the UK are very rare.  Certain fossils are just too costly and some are one-of-a-kind specimens that can only be viewed at museums. This fossil reproduction is an exact copy, cast directly from the actual fossil itself.  The replica foot print measures 140mm x 135mm on a matrix of 193mm x 195mm and weighs just over 1kg.
