RARE STAFFORDSHIRE ENAMEL PATCH BOX HORSE RACING C.1790

 




 

A rare South Staffordshire Enamel Patch Box decorated with a Horse Racing Scene c.1790.

 

The box measures 3cms in height and the base is 6cms X 3.5cms.

 

 It is in excellent condition. There is a small scrape to the white enamel on the inside of the lid, and some scratches to the blue enamel of the base,  apart from this there is no other damage and there is virtually no sign of wear to the top panel.

 

A VERY RARE PIECE OF HORSE RACING MEMORABILIA.
