SUPERB & RARE RETRO G-PLAN BED HEADBOARD & BEDSIDE DRAWERS - 1960's

This is a superb retro G-Plan bed Headboard incorporating glass shelves and a matching pair of Bedside Tables made in the 1960's.

This is a rare example of G-Plan furniture and with its wonderful floral decorated laminated finish on mahogany would suit a variety of decor. We have listed separately a matching dressing table.

The piece features a tall, shaped Headboard which is padded and upholstered in the original vinyl with traditional brass buttoning and laminated side sections with a glass shelf, on polished steel brackets, to each side. Below each shelf is a Bedside Table with a useful storage drawer underneath. The drawers are mahogany lined and the fronts are laminated and highlighted with fabulous floral decoration and brass handles. To the top centre of the headboard is the original pink and white plastic reading light(which will need a simple rewire) and completing the styling are the elegant brass coloured steel square legs.

The maximum overall dimensions are: 95½" wide x 56" high x 14¾" deep. The measurement between the Bedsides Tables is 59" wide. The space between the wooden bed brackets is 42"(this is the measurement to the middle of the 'cut-outs' for the bed bolts).

Apart from normal minor signs of use the Headboard/Bedside Tables are in excellent condition for the age.

This superb and rare G-Plan Headboard and Bedside Tables is ready for immediate use and will add splendid retro styling to any home.
