RARE R. LALIQUE "LAVE RAISINS" VASE

IN THE "MUSCAT" PATTERN cc1938

 

A rare example of a signed Rene Lalique opalescent "Lave Raisins" vase in the "Muscat" pattern. Modeled in 1938 and numbered 10-3477 in the R.Lalique catalogue by Marchilac.

The vase can only  be described as exceptional for it's age, with no chips or cracks. It is beautifully coloured, depicting grape vines and bunches of grapes running as a theme throughout the vase. A truly lovely piece produced in 1938.

The vase measures 6.5" in height and has a rim width of 5.75" with a acid etch block letter signature on the base: R.LALIQUE, FRANCE.
