AZTEC, Central Mexico Ca. 1200-1400AD.
Rare Double Chamber Aztec Poison Pot. This unusual artifact of hand-formed pottery is lentoid shape with a rounded bottom and a flat horizontal top with two cylindrical shaped chambers. The exterior is decorated with hand inscribed line-work forming a double line zig-zag motif with a single incise line at the rim.
Beautiful piece with excellent eye appeal. Material: Hand formed Buff pottery. Condition: Excellent--no repairs! Only a light scuff on one side. Height: 2-5/8in. (6.6cm).
