On Sale ! Nice condition Schilke X4. This is highly desirable model pro trumpet which rarely appears on ebay marketplace. According to serial range 17XXX ( rest on photo below ) it was made sometime in the 1980s. This is already a vintage highly desirable Schilke X4.

Presented here is vintage Schilke X4 pro largest bore made by Schilke 0.468" with the serial in the 17XXX range ( rest of photo ). Horn is in very good silver shape but needs either few adjustments or no adjusments at all. This is a buyer decision ! Few darker spots on silver can be polished by silver cloth or silver cleaning liquid and I can do that for the buyer at no extra fee :-)  So to imperfections on the horn I see that braces were resoldered in the past. Leadpipe has few pings/scratches pretty minor those appear larger on photo than in real as photo is enlarged. Noticed two dents/dings one on the bottom of 3rd slide easy to take out and other on the very edge of the bell (see photos). This is the edge towards bottom / viewer of the photo. There are no bell repairs. Bell also slightly goes towards leadpipe. This can be easily corrected by a brass tech when fixing dings. Valves are smooth and fast with no wear and have great compression. The rubber band on the tuning slide is there only as spit valve needs new stronger spring. Spring is still there but slightly too light to hold against the air pressure when horn is blown. Detailed photos are included. My buy now is $1450 with USA shipping/insurance included just like on photos. If you want me to repair whatever I described you would need to pay for repairs as my repairman here in NYC charges $100 per hour so those adjustments can take up around 30 minutes approx $50 for repairs with adjustments completed. Horn is playable as it is right now so this is just an option available and/or maybe you can find a cheaper repairman in your local area.

 Valves are smooth and fast and all slides are coming out just as on photos .

 You can save a bunch over buying new retail as those are going for really wild prices even here on ebay
