RARE GEORGIAN CORKSCREW WITH BRASS GRIPPER AND HANDLE MADE OF LIGNUM VITAE WOOD

CIRCA 1820

This corkscrew has a fine turned lignum vitae or rosewood handle with horsehair dusting brush to one end.

It has a turned Baluster shaft  with a brass cork gripper.

The worm is of steel and is good and straight.

The shaft and the worm measures 10.16 cms long with the handle measuring 15cms long ( including the horsehair brush)

This corkscrew is in very good condition for its age.

I use my expertise and experience to evaluate and describe my items but sometimes I make mistakes. These I accept and a full refund is given.

 A refund is ONLY given if the item I have sold you is misrepresented by me. I do not give partial refunds at any time.

As you can see from my feedback I do not often get it wrong and all my customers are happy with the service I provide.

PHOTOGRAPHS

I am always happy to send you more photographs of any item. I try to send them within 24 hours of your request but sometimes I cannot, please be patient I will send them as soon as I can.

Always include your e mail address with your request. I do not know whether it is my lack of know how but I do not seem to be able to send extra photos through E Bay Seller questions.

 Note that I always add close ups of every item, especially if there is a defect. Magnified digital photography tends to show up all minute scratches and marks, but often these marks cannot be seen when viewed with the naked eye; if that is the case then I will mention it.

Make cheques payable to M Mitchell.  

Postage within the UK is by Special Delivery and should be with you within 24 hours of my posting the package.

Postage outside of the UK depends on which country and the size of the parcel. It is best to e mail me for the most effective way of sending it and the cost.

Insurance is always added if the value of the item is more than the Royal Mail standard.

The package is sent as soon as your payment clears into my account.
