RARE GEORGE WADE - FAUST LANG - SPANIEL dog 1939 MINT! on eBay (end time 28-Jan-10 21:44:41 GMT)

Here is a very rare vintage SPANIEL - UNDERGLAZED DOG made in 1939 by George Wade & Son, Ltd., now known as Wade England. This piece is fully marked "Wade England SPANIEL" on the bottom in the appropriate handwritten blue ink. It is approximately 5.5 inches high and 5.25 inches long. It is in MINT condition, with no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs. Tis exact piece was photographed by Ian Warner and Mike Posgay and featured in their 2004 book, World Of Wade: Figurines and Miniatures, on page 43.
