A rare and unusual walking stick in the ethnic taste, from the late 19th century. Featuring a primative parrots head with rough faceted black obsidean eyes. The iron top lifts to allow a hand forged spike to pull out, held in place with  sprung edges. A symetrical growing tree has lad branches cut in a tapered manner, to give this knobular effect. The bottom is capped in brass. An unusual stick that I hope will find a good home. A few of the knobs have been knocked off at top and the tip of the spike is slighty bent .height 43"
