A rarely found gilded miniature octagonal shaped cup and saucer by Coalport, England, on a yellow ground believed dating from the 1920's or earlier. The cup height is a fraction under one and a half inches with a top width of two inches; maximum width of saucer is three and a half inches; cup has a gold interior and saucer centre is also gold. The condition is excellent with very minimal surface scratching to the centre of the saucer where the cup sits; certainly free from any cracks, chips or hairlines or any fading, rubbing, or discolouration, and with no restoration. Each piece bears the identical pre-1939 Coalport factory backstamp and the saucer additionally carries impressed number 53D08. We are offering this vintage miniature duo at a very reasonable start price with no reserve.

From UK buyers we accept payment in pounds sterling only, by personal cheque or postal order but NOT Paypal.

From non-UK buyers we accept and prefer payment through Paypal in UK pounds sterling, but can also accept a personal check (subject to clearance) in pounds sterling (or, at buyer's request, in USA dollars for which we'll convert at the exchange rate prevailing at close of the auction).
