A CLASSIC RARE OLD ONIN SCHOOL IRON TSUBA, FROM A JAPANESE SAMURAI SWORD, DATING AROUND the 15/16 CENTURY. .................It has the three comma TOMOE mon design, which is a crest of a samurai family. It has the typical inlaid dots of copper and brass of a ONIN school tsuba, with a raised rim, and the circular punched textured designs. ........................The design is nicely balanced, and the comma mons are long, and elegant in shape....................The tsuba measures 69mm diameter, and 4mm thick....................These tsuba are always illustrated in all of the books, and a must for a collection................They look really good on a sword, or displayed seperately ! ............... Please note I ship overseas !
