RARE Adams Ironstone**ASIATIC PHEASANT** Lge Bowl c1870

Clearing out a family attic, and finding hoards of treasured possesions & memories in amasing condition. Please add me to favourites for a while, as most is 0.99p with NR, and it all has to go.

 

This is 130 years old! its condition is wonderful. 3rd large Adams Ironstone, W.Adams & Co.Tunstall. Scalloped edged. This is the last one and in the best of condition out the 3. Great feel, and measuring 10.5 inches in diameter. Soft blue & white transfer of the Asiatic Pheasant design. Introduced at around 1870/75. J.M & S (John Meir & Son - 1870 to 1897) A very Popular design during mid to late victorian era. The bowl has no crazing or repairs and no age cracks even, and is in the brightest of condition. Very very pleasing to the eye. The final piece is a large meat plate of the same era etc, I am open to sensible offers
