WELCOME!

For your consideration I am offering at auction a wonderful old Chelsea desk clock. I read the serial number as 193393, which means it was produced between 1925-1929. The brass clock stands about 5 1/8th inches tall and about 4 7/8th inches across the base. The glass is about 2 3/4 inches across. It has a screw off back that reveals the winding knob, time set and fast/slow adjustment. I believe that the front is also supposed to screw off, but I can't get it to turn. You will see in the pictures provided that there is some green corrosion in that area. The clock runs great, and is quite substantial, weighs 3 1/2 pounds. Along with the serial number stamped on bottom are these numbers: 68F, 136, CCC. inside the back cover is etched: X65634S. This is a great, hard to find little clock, good luck bidding!
