RARE 18K ROSE GOLD MEN'S ROLEX DATEJUST

FULL 18K ROSE GOLD DATEJUST FROM 1960

This is a beautiful and unusual watch.  I bought it on eBay from Items of Beauty around 3 years ago.  Their verification certificate will accompany the watch.  I bought a 1928 Rolex from them at the same time for my wife - both beautiful, distinguished and reliable timepieces.

My Datejust is in a very unusual rose gold - a more pinkish, copper-like colour than the common yellow gold.  The casing and band are made of the same material, despite what the listing options may suggest - there was no red gold option in the watchband section.  It was made in 1960, and keeps excellent time.  It's properly waterproof, and fully automatic.  It does not have the hack mechanism, so you do need to turn through 24 hours to adjust the date.  This is apparently the case with Rolexes from this period.

There are some slight surface scratches on the lens and casing, but otherwise condition is excellent.  The bracelet, clasp and casing are in solid 18K rose gold, and so are the face, hour markers and hands.  With poor eyesight I'm finding it increasingly difficult to read without glasses and even moreso if I'm in bad lighting.

It cost £5000 from Items of Beauty when I bought it and it's never missed a beat.  I've never taken it off and it's gone swimming and had showers with me every day.  It's really, really lovely!

Will consider exchange for full 18K Submariner or similar or WHY, but only full size authentic men's Rolex with easily readable face please.
