Terms and Conditions
The following constitutes our terms of business for buyers. By bidding you are agreeing with these terms. If you have any questions please contact us.
a. Payments a.1 The winning bidder must pay within 7 days of the end of the auction. Postal Orders or Cheques should be sent promptly to ensure they reach us in time. Failure to pay on time might result in unpaid item strikes, negative feedback or other action. Our preferred payment method is Paypal.
a.2 Payment in full A payment is not considered complete until payment is made in full including all delivery and/or storage charges (if applicable). Items will not be released until this condition is met.
b. Carriage & Packing. b.1 Once payment is complete the item becomes the property of the buyer. If the buyer asks us to ship the item by for example selecting a shipping option, the buyer appoints us as their agent for the shipping process. The item will be shipped to the address provided by the buyer at the time of purchase (eg his/her Paypal address or an address provided in written form such as an email). Items will not be shipped until the buyer confirms by email the address provided. The shipping courier will require a signature of the responsible person on delivery. Items returned to us as undeliverable may attract storage charges and further delivery charges before they can be re-delivered.
b.2 The buyer may arrange his/her own shipping or collection, but will then be responsible for the packing and collection of the item.
b.3 We are not liable for any loss or damage once the item has been transferred to your shipping agent. Any such loss or damage is a matter between the buyer and the shipping agent. We cannot make claims on behalf of the buyer but will be happy to help and advise buyers in making claims against a shipping agent. We strongly advise taking out insurance with the shipping agent.
c. Uncollected goods. We reserve the right ot levy storage charges up to £25 per week for items which remain uncollected longer than 7 days after payment is made in full
d. Returns and Refunds d.1 Any claims for returns and refunds must be made within 7 days of receipt and before any feedback is left.
d.2 Valid grounds for refunds are if the item is substantially different from that described in the listing. Where such errors have been made by us we will process a full refund and arrange return of the item at our expense. In cases where the buyer has bought the item in error we will try to help, but have no obligation to refund any part of the buyer's cost.
d.3 If an item is returned without proper grounds we are not obliged to give a refund. If a refund is refused the buyer must cover the cost of returning the item to the buyer. We will store the item for you for a reasonable period (at least 7 days) to allow time for you to organise collection. Items stored this way will incur a storage charge. After the storage period has been exceeded, the item will be disposed of or re-sold to cover our costs.
