UNUSED WW2 Pattern RAF Tropical Helmet ribbon - great for Wolsley Helmets or Slouch hats !

According to RAF Dress Regulations 1935  " flash was worn on left side of tropical helmet, sewn down in centre of 8 fold puggaree - Dark Blue, Light Blue, Red - reckoned from the front of the helmet "

This cap band braid has been subsequently worn in civilian attire, such as Panama Hats, etc

The band measures 24 inches in length, approx 2 inches wide.

New, Unissued condition. A quality item.

IDEAL FOR DISPLAY, RE-ENACTMENT etc

An Aviation Enthusiasts / Collectors piece.
