It is something between a reference book and a history of the RAF's part in the war - not of the wider issues of strategy and bombing policy, but of the individual deeds of heroism through which the reader can trace the growth and development of the Air Force.

The book comes in its dustjacket which has some marking and edge/corner rubbing. Also has creasing along the top on the back and a tear on the top of the spine.

Inside the price has been clipped and there is a name on the top of one page otherwise in good 'used' condition.
