A  RARE  R.LALIQUE  "GUI No.2" SEPIA PATINA

MISTLETOE  BOWL  cc1930

 

A good example of a signed Rene Lalique "Gui No.2" Mistletoe bowl modeled cc1930 and numbered 3224 in the R. Lalique catalogue by Marchilhac.

This is a beautiful bowl moulded with a continuous theme of overlapping branches of mistletoe, with  berries for the feet. This particular bowl is coloured with a sepia patina which enhances detail in the work and is a feature sought after by many collectors. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. A truly lovely piece of Lalique and an enhancement to any collection.

The bowl measures 8.25" in width and 3.5" in height and is engraved  - R.LALIQUE - FRANCE  - No.3224.
