406 is a R reg, with air con, all new tyres, mot till december tax till august, 4 p owners, all handbooks, 8 service stamps, cambelt done last year, 50mpg, excellent runner, all mudflaps all round.

As you are aware these cars are virtually bullet proof as they are used all over the country for taxis reaching upto 300,000 or more. This has only had 3/4 previous keepers and is in good condition but due to its age it does have the odd mark here and there and could do with a professional valet, although i have put mats in and it seems clean to me. Im getting about 85 miles to £10 at todays prices £1.18 which has got to be well over 50mpg.

Faults

All cars have them and this is no exception, the air con pump sounds noisey and this does not effect the way it drives, there are also some scrathches around the car, air con is untested so take it that it doesnt work. Sounds a bit fussy but i like my cars to be described as best i can. OH and the colour!! never bothered me.

Any inspection test drive is welcome prior to end of sale providing insurence cert is shown on arrival.
