Quantum QNexus

 

The Quantum QNexus is a unique accessory that opens up new opportunities for the Qflash portable flash system.

The QNexus is a receiver dedicated to the Qflash 5d-R series to facilitate seamless integration with Nikon & Canon's wireless IR command features. It is a small module that fits on the side of a T5d-R or X5d-R in to the accessory connection socket and is able to receive commands from Nikon Creative Lighting System or Canon wireless IR codes from up to 200 ft.

 

This means that a Qflash with QNexus can now become a wireless slave flash controlled by a Canon or Nikon flash, depending on what system you are using.

 

In the Canon system, a 580 EX, 580 EX II or ST-E2 Wireless Remote transmitter can be used to control remote '580' flashes and QNexus equipped Qflashes.
Similarly, a Nikon D200, D80 or D70s camera, SB800 flash or SU800 Wireless Commander can be used to control remote SB800, SB600 flashes and QNexus equipped Qflashes

this item is 2 years old , is boxed, has hardly been used, and can be purchased together with the rest of my Quantum outfit...... see other ads. It costs around £150 new !
