8 reasons to buy from "Charlieglacier"

1: Over 2250 pairs of binoculars sold on eBay in the past 4 years, from Australia to Alaska and everywhere in between, my listing is correctley prepared so that you can see most of it being copied and used by quite a few other sellers, even right down to the copyright symbol after the instruction manual.

(Not in the eBay spirit, but, if they can't create their own???).

2: My reputation depends on your satisfaction and your satisfaction is my aim, any problems, I sort them.

3: I don't charge you extra for postal insurance or overcharge on postage.

4: If you live locally or are in the area you can collect the item, I am happy for my buyers to know where I live and know that they can contact me at any time, unlike some other sellers who will not allow you to collect or even give you a return address.

5: When you buy from me, you are buying from a person with a real address, not someone who only accepts Paypal and no other form of payment and will not give you an actual contact address or even the address of where they will post from, only e-mail or a mobile number.

6: My feedback, which I am very proud of, is your best independent way of checking any item I am selling, please do so.

7: Don't take my word that these are the best quality and value for money around, check out the recommendations below, which speak for themselves.

8: These binoculars have the correct details stamped on them, unlike so many cheap copies for sale.

Think about it!

There are lots of binoculars for sale on eBay, if the price is cheap, the name sounds Chinese or is miss-spelt, they probably are Chinese. Nothing wrong with that until they fall to bits after a couple of months.

The main error you will see on these is that they have been stamped incorrectly, i.e. 10-70 x 70 when the actual objective lens is only 50 mm. The reason for this is that the people making them have no idea what the figures mean.

If the company making the cheap copies was a reputable / reliable manufacturer they would have detected this mistake long ago and rectified it, not carried on for years with it, unless they knew nothing about binoculars other than how to make cheap inferior copies, which usually fall to bits after a few weeks use. Yes, they can be cheaper, but even as a seller I found they were not worth the trouble as the failure rate was so high.

Due to the amount of binoculars I sell, I have been able to purchase in bulk and have made sure that the correct specification details are stamped.
