Payment

We accept payment by: Credit or Debit Card over the phone, and via Paypal. All Auction and "Buy It Now" prices include VAT.

Once an auction finishes our system will send an Invoice with detailed payment information to your REGISTERED E-BAY E-MAIL ADDRESS. Please make sure the e-mail address you have registered is correct.


Q - Can I pay by cheque or bank transfer?

A - Unfortunately not, we only accept payment via credit/debit card or PayPal. You can also pay by credit/debit card or cash on collection at our showroom.

Shipping

We take great care packaging every item to ensure safe shipment to you. We charge a postage fee only to cover our costs of materials and labour. Once your order has been processed and we have received cleared payment, your item will be dispatched as soon as possible.

Important Note:
 
Standard delivery time is 3-4 working days, but can be earlier for some items. To get an accurate delivery time, you can call us on 0845-6526279 to get a confirmed delivery date. 
 
It is essential that you supply a daytime contact telephone number for our couriers to get in touch if there is a problem with delivery (preferably a Mobile number). 
 
Any failed deliveries due to the fault of the customer providing incorrect details will incur a re-delivery charge.
 
In the unlikely event of a delay in delivery which may be due to circumstances beyond our control, e.g. due to courier or transport company delay, we cannot be held responsible for any losses incurred.
 
Please take this into account before booking any tradesmen, or arranging time off work for a delivery.
 
Upon Delivery :
 
The carriers will require a signature for the goods at the delivery address, so somebody needs to be there between 9.00 am and 6.00pm on the day of delivery. Deliveries are only made Monday to Friday. 
 
All items are shipped to the address you have provided via the checkout.
 
On larger goods such as baths, bathroom suites etc the courier driver may require someone to help, and may be palletised.

Q - How long does delivery take? 
A - We aim to deliver all orders as quickly as possible, some items take 2-3 days, whereas others may take 4-5 days.
 
Q - Can I combine more than one item under the same carriage charge? 
A - Yes. If you are planning on buying more than one item from us and want to combine them all under one carriage charge then please do not pay for the first item straight away. Wait until you have won all the items you require then pay for them all at the same time under the same payment. This will mean you only pay one carriage charge. If you pay for each item individually then you will pay carriage for each item. BUT PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE ANY ITEMS UNPAID FOR MORE THAN 14 DAYS, OTHERWISE THIS MAY RESULT IN UNPAID ITEM DISPUTE BEING OPENED AGAINST YOU.
 
Q - Can I collect, and save on postage?
A – Yes you can, but you will need to call us on 0845-6526279 prior to arranging a collection.

Returns Policy - Faulty Goods, Missing Parts.

With the majority of cases, most manufacturers will have a technical helpline for the warranty they provide and can resolve the majority of queries. You must call us on 0845-6526279 or email us at info@designerbathroomsuk.com to advise of the faulty goods, and our staff will notify you of the correct procedure to follow.

You must check goods for missing parts or incorrect items received within 24 hours of receiving the delivery. If you fail to do so, and leave it until time of fitting, it will be too late for us to resolve any issues.

When goods are deemed to be faulty and the manufacturer cannot resolve them, we will refund the cost of the goods and the delivery charge, please contact info@designerbathroomsuk.com to arrange for the goods to be collected. All returns are tested and if the item proves not to be faulty when tested, only after this point will the product value will be refunded. You will also be charged the actual cost of the delivery and the collection, if the product turns out not to be faulty.

Checking Goods For Damage and Notifying Designerbathrooms

For small item deliveries that arrive with carriers you agree to open all boxes and thoroughly check the goods for damage on the day of delivery and notify us of any damage within 24 hours of the delivery. If we are not notified of damage AFTER 24 hours we are unable to claim from either the manufacturer or the carrier. You agree to indemnify us in full for any losses we suffer as a result of your failure to notify us within  the 24 hour period.

For bulky deliveries that arrive on pallets you agree to check the goods for damage before signing the drivers delivery note. If you sign for the goods, even if you write the words "Unchecked" or similar on the delivery note, then you are accepting that the goods arrived in good condition and later claims for damages will not be considered. If someone else is signing for the goods on your behalf you agree to advise them that the goods must be checked and you accept full responsibility for any loss or damage if they sign on your behalf and fail to check. You agree to indemnify us in full for any losses we suffer as a result of you or your agent accepting goods and signing a delivery note without thoroughly checking the goods for damage.


If an item on a delivery is damaged, make a note of the damaged item on the  delivery paperwork and email info@designerbathroomsuk.com or call us on 0845 6526279 with the details. Do not refuse the delivery unless every item is damaged. If you refuse a delivery with any undamaged items on it you will be charged for the return and the redelivery of those items. 


Returns Policy - Changed Your Mind

If you change your mind about the product when you receive it you can return it at any time within 7 days for a refund of the product cost, 
PLEASE NOTE THAT IF YOU WRITE OUR ADDRESS ALL OVER THE PRODUCT PACKAGING THEN THE PRODUCT IS NO LONGER IN RESALEABLE CONDITION AND YOU WILL NOT BE REFUNDED.

THE PACKAGING MUST BE IN PERFECT CONDITION FOR THE RETURNS TO BE ACCEPTED. (Any rips or torn packaging cardboard, dust, paint or any other marks on packaging will result in a rejection of the returned item, and we will be unable to return the price of the item)
We suggest that you take out carrier insurance because if the goods do not arrive in re-saleable condition no refund will be made.

Genuinely faulty goods will be replaced or money refunded, however we must be advised of any faulty goods upon receipt of the item. It is the customers responsibility to pay for and ship the item back to us. If the item is found to be faulty, we will also refund the postage cost.
