This auction is for a Procameras Quilt Hanging System.  The auction does not include the carry bag.

We have been selling our quilt hanging systems since 1996, this is based on the Procameras FCSS2     Background Support System , which has nylon coated steel cross poles of maximum  length 9ft, and stands which now extend to 10ft 6ins high.

We are the only manufacturers of support systems with steel crosspoles in the UK.

The FB1 bag is designed to carry this system around, separating the stands from the crosspoles to avoid damage and also make stowage in the rear of a car or even if you are flying abroad.  The length over the bag, packed, is 1.1 metre. 

Our support system is lightweight at around 11lbs, and can be erected in a few minutes by one person, although, ideally, one person at each stand makes the job super quick.  You do not need to use step ladders at all with our system, the telescopic stands allow your quilt to be fitted to the crosspole at a height as low as 4 ft and the stand sections are then pushed up until you achieve your required hanging height.   It is also possible to move a system, with a quilt fitted, with one person at each stand. 

The nylon coated steel crosspoles are designed to take the heaviest of quilts and if your piece of work is no more than 6ft wide then the crosspole can be reduced in width by taking out the middle section.

We also offer the option of double-sided hanging of two quilts on one system with our bracket & pole kit DSFCSS2, which could prove useful if your display area is limited.

 If you are still having to hire vans to cart around  timber quilt frame sections, and step ladders, then consider our system.   It is quite easy to transport many of these systems in a small vehicle, particularly when fitted into bags. 

Several quilting groups around the UK have invested in up to ten of our systems, and some have placed repeat orders.   Some of the groups have managed to obtain lottery funding for the purchase of our systems.

There is no reason why a system could not be used to support a quilt,  while you are working on it.

From UK buyers I can take Paypal,  Cheque payment,  and, directly on the telephone (01902 791511) I can take Switch, Debit, Visa or mastercard.

Postal orders are fine.

From buyers outside the UK I will only take Paypal.  

Exempted bidders

I will not accept bids from Indonesia, Nigeria,  Central African Countries,  Soviet Union & Eastern Block countries.  If in doubt please ask me.

For security reasons, if you have only just registered with eBay or have poor overall feedback please contact me before bidding.

Accidental bidding.

Accidental bidding should never happen because the eBay system always asks you to ‘confirm’ your bid……..ie it asks you to think before finally commiting to buy.

Commiting yourself to buy generates eBay fees for me and I will expect you to be responsible for them in the case of an abortive auction.

Non-paying bidders will get negative feedback and a non-paying bidder strike.  You should only click on the buy-it-now button once, sometimes the eBay

Delivery of items

For larger items I tend to use a carrier for UK mainland.

For smaller/lightweight items I will use the post office.

Please give me a reliable delivery address.

If you are at work all day then a carrier trying to deliver to  your home will most likely fail.

Delivery by carrier  to your place of work is often acceptable to me.

My carrier will attempt to deliver on two consecutive weekdays and leave a card.

You telephone numbers will be given to the carrier to assist if they are having difficulty in finding you.

If you request to change the delivery address when the carrier is in possession of the goods you will be liable for further delivery costs.

Timed delivery costs are extremely expensive so I do not offer this service.

Saturday am delivery by carrier is possible but it will be expensive.

THE MORAL IS,  GIVE ME A RELIABLE DELIVERY ADDRESS WHERE WE CAN DELIVER AT THE FIRST ATTEMPT.

Deivery timescale.

As a mail order business (Circa 1982),  I do not  hang about,  after an order’s placed I want it out asap, there are exceptions, I am only human.

The carrier I use gives us an overnight service and will attempt to delivery the day after the goods are sent out.  This does not mean that you will automatically receive goods the the day after placing the order. 

I often have  parcel queues and this may delay your parcel by a day or so.
