This QUANTUM  baitcaster reel is packed with the latest technology available from manufacturers of  some of  the most popular fishing  in the US today!

You are bidding on a brand new, US Import, left hand wind SLATE GREY Quantum CL401CX baitcaster REEL  It is one of the finest low profile reels on the market today.This beauty has a one piece  metal frame and side plates with quick release cover for speedy spool change/cleaning.  It boasts  4 stainless steel  ball bearings system (3 ball/1 roller).It also has an ultra light machined aluminium  spool  for reduced spool weight and increased casting distance.

The level wind guide places line evenly on the spool using back and forth motion, as the line is cranked. The guide is in constant contact with the line and the zirconia guides keep friction to an absolute minimum.

The casting distance and accuracy are further enhanced with a state-of-the-art 5 pin, fully adjustable  centrifugal brake system. Backward movement of the spool and reel handle on the hook set has been virtually eliminated with the unlimited anti reverse system. Backlash control is a dream-come-true for anglers of all skill levels thanks to the proven Quantum DynaMag magnetic cast control system on this reel. Just click the external dial up or down as needed to adjust spool speed to fishing conditions. This enables the correct amount of friction to be applied on the spool shaft to prevent line backlash. By turning the knob clockwise it reduces the casting distance and anti clockwise lengthens it. The drag system has been designed to provide smooth, dependable performance at any drag setting.This item also boasts a thumbar casting switch switch!.  FISH BEWARE!!!
