Arguably one of the finest amplifiers of its day and in my opinion still is !!!

These amplifiers are now at least 25 years old and for the benefit of those of you who don't know (sorry to bore you that do know) these amplifiers are fitted with electrolytic capacitors which unless have already been replaced will now be deteriorating. These components have a limited working / shelf life which they are now well past and although your amplifier may still be working the audio quality will now be diminished, compared to when your beautiful Quad 303 was new.

What we are offering here is to replace the electrolytic capacitors with "BRAND NEW HIGH QUALITY" components of equal or superior standard than the originals plus we check and if necessary replace any other components that are shown to be suspect. We also clean and remove the dust and debris that has collected inside the amplifier over many years of use.

The aim of replacing these capacitors is to bring your Quad 303 back to the way it was when new............

Due to todays modern technology its now possible to use superior quality components that were not available at the time these superb amplifiers were built, which results in your amplifier, after the capacitor kit has been fitted, now generating a much greater depth of bass, enhanced mid-range and a far cleaner top end. We would also like to point out that when we fit our specially selected Main and Output Capacitors we re-use the original steel supports with spacers to hold the new capacitors in place and maintain direct wiring to these components which would be impossible with some circuit board / capacitor designs which are now on the market and also our method of fitment maintains a look of authenticity and strength. To cut a long story short your amp will sound fantastic and as a bonus will have a much longer life span for your future quality listening.

HOW DO YOU GET YOUR AMPLIFIER OVERHAULED AND SERVICED?

Using the "Buy-it-Now" simply pay for the capacitor kit and the return postage. Securely package up your amplifier ( DO NOT send any connection leads with it ) preferably wrap your amplifier in bubble wrap and place in a stout tight fitting box and then place that box into a larger box packed tightly with shredded paper or similar (your amplifier will be returned to you in the same packaging). Then post the package to us (the full postal address will be sent to you after the purchase). Upon receipt we will then upgrade your amplifier with the capacitor kit and once it has completed a full and thorough bench test your amplifier will be returned to you via Parcelforce 48. The whole process usually takes between 5 - 10 working days ( subject to cleared payment ).
