Purple & orange skullcap / beret


This unique new hat has been hand-made by Ualda. Formerly only sold from her market stall, her creations are now available internationally through the internet. Don't worry that you can't try it on; you can return it promptly in the same state for a refund... it's just not quite as much fun as standing at the stall trying on twenty!

The hat sizes are quite flexible, most styles are quite stretchy and fit a range of head sizes and hair styles. Cap styles can be worn over long hair, braids or fine locks; hair can be tucked up inside tam styles. Our return policy lets you try it if you're not sure - it'll only cost you the postage. For more info about whether this hat will fit, measure around your head just above your ears and eyebrows and compare with the size below.

Care Instructions

Most styles can be worn in a variety of ways; the choice of yarn, stitches and design give them the stiffness to hold a shape you set on your head. Try out different positions and forms to see which suit the shape of your head, hair and face the best. Pull out any creases from folding it up for shipping if they don't look good.

Washing: you can machine wash cool (up to 40°C); don't iron or tumble-dry, allow to dry on a flat surface after pulling back into shape if necessary. It's best not to use fabric conditioner unless you want a soft and floppy hat; if this happens, hand wash with a little soap to put some stiffness back.






General info

FREE POSTAGE & PACKING: eBay have changed their rules and force us to offer free P&P. Of course, what this really means is we have to include it in the price (and they take a commission on it).

RETURNS: we want you to be happy and so you're free to return any item within 14 days in the same state, for a refund. Now that we're compelled to include P&P in the item price, we'll retain £2 from the refund of your item to cover it, but there's no further fee for restocking or any other excuse. You're responsible for paying to send it back and you won't get a refund if we don't receive it so we strongly recommend shipping that includes insurance and is signed for (eg. Royal Mail Recorded).

SHIPPING DISCOUNTS: It used to be that if you bought more than one hat the system could work out a discount on the shipping but now that it's included of course it can't, so if you're buying more than one thing from us, please commit to buying all items first and then BEFORE PAYING ask for an invoice total and we'll see how much we can knock it down for you. If you want to know what the discount will be before committing to buy, just drop me a message.
