Proton Persona 1.5 (1597)

I am selling this car on behalf of my parents who dont have access to a computer.

The car is being listed as spares or repair.

It is a 5 door saloon, T reg (1999) and finished in grey.

It has 101000 miles on the clock.

It has alloy wheels with very good tyres fitted.

There is no mot or tax on this car and is into its second sorn registration

The bad points are as follows:- 1) problem with the clutch. Not sure what but have been informed by my mother that she had to pump it to make it work. 2) the drivers side window doesnt open they dont know why, but i can only assume it must be a switch or motor (no guarentees though). 3) there is a scrape down the drivers door shown in pic and also a small dent in corner of drivers side wing. there maybe the other odd mark here and there.

I would imagine once the clutch problem was sorted it would go through an mot, but i will not guarentee this.

I have driven this car when it was running and was quite surprised at just how responsive it was. the engine as far as i know is in good working order. It hasnt been moved for a while now but i feel confident it would start and drive, my mother was using this car by pumping the clutch. they got a new car and it has stood pretty much in the same spot since, apart from when i moved it on their drive about 8 weeks ago to accomodate another car for them and it sarted fine with a jump start.

When cleaned it does come up really well its a shame it has the sscrape and small dent as mentioned above.

My parents want the car gone as soon as possible, so a prompt collection at the end of auction would be appreciated.

I have just been given the paperwork for this car by my parents to find that it has a valid MOT til November 9th 2008. I was advised by my mother that it was on its second sorn, obviously not quite right. But anyway better for the winner of the auction.

Looking at the mot certificate tells me this car has actually done only about 300 miles since last mot. So i am even more confident now that it wont need alot if anything to pass the next one. Once again no guarentees though
