Sean Johnson has teamed up with a dedicated handful of filmers and riders to bring you a killer snowboard video. Defective films first snowboard video is titled "Promo Copy". 14 riders are involved in this snowboard video as well as various sponsors.
" It's a new production company but we've all been doing it for years. Its not rocket science, its just a matter of working hard and keeping an open mind. I am excited to see the end product. We can finally use some of the ideas we have been sitting on for a while. Every one on the crew is pretty positive and hungry to get some work done. Our focus this season is on solutions not problems. Defective films is about working with the people we want to work with-not the people we have to work with says Johnson.
 
Defective Films first release, Promo Copy, is a 16mm progressive freestyle film. Standout parts include: Eddie Wall doing a 60 foot, 270 step-up gap to rail, and Joni Malmi's incredible street rails. If you mess up on some of these rails you don't get hurt, you die. A new face, rookie Simon Chamberlain shows the smoothest jib style on street and in the park, and Iikka Backstrom is quickly gaining respect among the pros as the one with the style they wish that they had. Chris Coulter has balls the size of watermelons and another rookie, Eero Niemella, can spin frontside 1080's without flapping his arms. 'The Machine' Andreas Wiig proves why he is one of the most respected park riders in the world and 18 year old Mikey Rencz is pushing the limits of the Whistler Backcountry.
 
Bonus Features include trick tips and interviews, as well as a new section titled ' the real story behind the shot.'
