Item Details:  Profusely Carved Oak Marriage Box / Chest / Coffer. Dating to the end of the 1800’s this beautiful old box is beautifully carved has good depth of colour and is in excellent condition. I am not sure as to the original use of this box but the imagery suggest possibly a marriage connection. There is no woodworm and the only minor fault is that the original lock although in place is broken. It has the exceptional weight you would expect from a quality oak piece.

Measurements: 10 inches (26cm) high x 13 inches (33cm) deep x 20 inches (51cm) wide. 

Payment: Preferred payment is cash on delivery or collection, a cheque in advance, Bank Transfer or Pay Pal if unable to pay the other ways.

Post & Packaging: You or your own couriers are more than welcome to collect but if that is not possible I will ship for you. Within the UK this will be charged at £15. Europe £50. USA & rest of world £80.
