| All our training is run by our own team of professional trainers and group sizes vary from just 2 to 12 persons - courses run regularly around the country.
This course has been run up and down the country in colleges, salons and clinics for many years. In just one day you will have a fully insurable professional qualification enabling you to make therapeutic grade aromatherapy products for retail or clinical use.
NO PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED
For those wishing to build their own retail business - you will learn everything you need to make top grade products for retail, including labelling and you can be assured that we have negotiated full product liabilty insurance which is available to all who successfully complete their training. You will also be able to become a member of "Katseye" which offers full ongoing support in all aspects of building a successful busines for just £3 per month (payable to Katseye Training)
For professional therapists
Massage therapists can learn to make their own therapeutic grade massage oils - Beauty therapists can learn to make their own cosmetic products - Indeed, any therapist can add a whole new dimension to their clinical practice after just one days training knowing that Katseye Blends is recognised by most professional bodies in the UK - for many it is a free add-on to your existing insurance but we have arrangements with numerous insurers if this is not the case for you - The Katseye Foundation Course is a recognised qualification in its own right as a comlementary therapy and is recognised as such by most professional bodies - Katseye Blends is also a corporate member of the Aromatherapy Trade Council. Successful completion of your training also qualifies you for membership of "Katseye" for a subscription of just £3 per month - your first three months are free - which entitles you to ongoing support in all aspects of building a successful business and includes help and advice in all areas - regular updates, inclusion in our online directory, preferential rates for "Premier Therapists" and much more.
Regular courses are running in Edinburgh, Liverpool (Wirral), Newcastle (Kenton), Rochdale, Birmingham (Dudley), Kent (Canterbury, Ramsgate), East/West Sussex (Uckfield, Bognor Regis), Peterborough with new locations being added all the time.
Everything you need - lunch, comprehensive handbook/manual, bottles, labels, containers, base products and essential oils are included in the price and you get to take home everything you make on the day. You will also be offered discounted starter kits (not required for the training) - 3 are available - essential oil blends, carriers, containers. Full kits are also available and, on successful completion of your training, you will be able to buy Katseye Therapeutic blends at a substantial discount.

Course details -
The course runs for one day and is in two parts - the first part includes an introduction to the 42 therapeutic blends of essential oils which form the basis of effective therapeutic products whether for clinical use or retail, base products (creams, oils, gels etc.), containers (bottles & pots), labeling, safety, legal compliance, conducting effective client consultations, product design and much more. There are comprehensive materials provided including a very comrehensive handbook. The second part of the day (following lunch) is very practical and involves making products based on recipes designed in the morning session - all materials required are provided and you can take home all that you make on the day. On successful completion of the course, you will be issued with your certificate and provided with all information you may need/require. The course is recognised by many professional bodies and may well be a free add-on to your existing insurance policy. Alernatively, we have arrangements with numerous insurers and can also offer a unique, stand alone policy offering comprehensive product liability insurance for those intending to develop a retail rather than a therapy based business. Three months free membership of "Katseye" is also included which entitles you to free updates, newsletter, advice in all areas relating to Katseye and product making, inclusion in our online directory and much more.
