ProCo Rat - R2DU - vintage Rackmount version

You are bidding on a vintage and very rare ProCo RAT (R2DU). Basically the R2DU are 2 classic ProCo Rat distortion pedals in a rackmount enclosure.
These units are very rare and only pop up occasionally on the secondhand market. Production has long been discontinued and those units sold between £500-£600 when bought new.

If you are looking at my auction you know the Rat and know the amazing distortion tones it can produce - especially the vintage models and with the R2DU you even got 2 classic RAT's in one!
The unit is in pretty mint condition technically. No scratchy pots, etc but a few paint chips which are only optical and don't affect the operation at all.
The unit comes with the original ProCo foot switch. These are even harder to find than the main unit itself, let alone together. The pedal is working fine but the LED lights (to indicate the effects are on or off) are a bit temperamental. A cheap LED replacement or small solder job might be the solution. If I get the time I'll have a look inside and try to fix it before end of auction.
But as mentioned, this does not affect the operation of the main unit or the foot switch.
Both units are connected via a 5 pin MIDI-type cable which is of course part of this auction.
The unit is powered with a regular 9vDC power supply (just like any regular Boss/Ibanez/MXR pedal
