PRINCESS ANNE AND MARK PHILLIPS COMMEMORATIVE WEDDING MUG

This unusual mug is by Staffordshire Potteries Ltd and commemorates the wedding of Princess Anne and Mark Phillips on 14 November 1973. 

They are pictured in silhouette inside gilt frames on the front, and shown riding horses on the back, again in a gilt frame.  The words “To commemorate the marriage of H.R.H. Princess Anne and Mark Phillips on 14 November 1973 in Westminster Abbey” are printed on the side of the mug.  It stands 3½” tall and measures 3” across the base. 

There is the tiniest of chips to the glaze on the rim.  This mug has no cracks, crazing or restoration and is offered in very good condition.
