This auction is for one

Rare and Unusual

Ingenious & Primitive

Deadfall Killing Mouse Trap

This ‘deadfall’ type trap is triggered by a finely adjusted wire trip mechanism, fired when the mouse passes underneath to get at the bait.

Once triggered it will cause the spike laden round block to fall and do its work.

Crude and barbaric, maybe, but it is an ingenious design.

************************************************

I have collected traps for many years but this hand~made wooden device is one of the very best I have found.

It is made from wood, wire, steel and tin and has been well waxed to protect the trap in use.

Whether you are a serious trap collector or simply wish to have a fantastic talking~point piece on your coffee table, you cannot fail to be impressed with this trap

Full range of photographs featured but if you need more, or further information then please contact me.
