This is one of Julia A'Court's wonderful designs of cottage garden flowers. The colours and details of these foxgloves are absolutely spot on, and I particularly like the way one spike appears in front of the 'frame' of twisted leaves, enhancing the 3D effect.
Included in the kit are the canvas, pre-printed with the design to Primavera's usual high standard; Anchor Tapisserie wools, a needle and instructions for working and making up into a cushion or footstool. The finished size is about 14 x 18ins . The design is worked in tent stitch .
Like many other stitchers, I've collected more patterns and kits over the years than I can possibly stitch , so I think the time has come to pass some of them on to others who'll enjoy working them. All the items I 'm selling are from my smoke and pet-free home and will be packaged carefully and posted without delay.
