~~The World's Best Camera Light Seal Kit Is Now Easier~~

Repair your camera's most common problem easily using the same material professional camera repairers use!  Anyone can do it.  Whether you call it light seal, light baffle, light trap, camera foam, camera seal, or whatever...you've found what you're looking for.
All pieces are pre-cut and ready to install from the most well-known and trusted name in camera light seal worldwide.  Who says it is the best?  Well, you could read about it...over the past 10 years, "The Light Seal Project" and I have been written about many times in magazines and on internet sites such as Amateur Photographer, Fotografare, IDCC, APUG, Nikonians, Matt Denton's site, Rick Oleson's site, Ron Herron's Mamiya site, Photo.net, Foto.ru, Classic Camera Repair Forum, Camera-fix, NelsonFoto, RangefinderForum, Tom Tiger's Zenit site, The Yashica Guy, Flickr, Nikon MF group and numerous others.  In fact, I am very proud to tell you Interslice and the seal kits were featured in the 125th Anniversary Issue of the prestigious Amateur Photographer, and the kits were given a rating of 5 stars out of a possible 5 stars.  Choose Interslice and buy with confidence.

~~There is simply no substitute for quality~~
These high precision products are manufactured to my specifications by companies who have proven their excellence over time, and only their finest products meet my professional standards.  The foam I sell has been proven for over 40 years.  It has to be the best to be used in my cameras, and you should not settle for less.

~~Instructions~~
I believe I've written more than anyone, and some have been translated into 7 languages with the 8th language on the way!  You can see some of what I've written here:
http://www.kyphoto.com/classics/sealreplacement.html

Please don't be fooled by imitators.  Common sense tells you to trust the proven sellers.  I own this operation, and there are only two other people in the world authorized to sell my material.  One lives in Germany and his ID is Camerasolution.  One lives in Wales and his ID is Fatluckdigi.  One of these people has been a partner with me 7 years...longer than many sellers have been on E-Bay.

This kit will allow you to re-seal the Canonet GIII QL17 (or other Canonets with the same body).  I will list many more pre-cut kits on eBay soon, and if you have a camera you want me to make a pre-cut kit for, please contact me and we will discuss the possibilities.  Below you can see the seal pieces you'll get in this kit:

In the instructions, I'll show you how to lay the film door strips down like a pro:

And remember, this kit contains the strips cut like original so that when you reach the latch end, your camera will be:

And since the latch end piece is always confusing, I explain how to get it just right so that it works as it was designed and looks like it did when it left the factory:

And I'm going to provide you 2 types of hinge end seal pieces.  One type is installed just like the original (requires removal of film door...which I explain how to do), and the other type can be installed without removing the film door...which I believe most people will find much easier.  How's that for convenience and going the extra mile?

~~An Added Bonus For You~~

Ah, and one more extra!  I forgot this earlier, but I will add it now:  In the instructions I have added some directions on how you can remove the top plate and clean the viewfinder of your Canonet!  A very common complaint on these cameras is that the viewfinder is hazy or foggy.  Now I will guide you through the process of solving that using 14 images and instructions!

~~Keeping the world "Greener"~~

Everybody talks about that, but the precision-cut seal pieces using the dies, cutters and templates I've engineered and made minimize waste greatly.  Everything in the kits except the foam and self-adhesive fabric pieces is 100% biodegradable.  Are you concerned about the planet, too?  Cast your vote for environmental responsibility by purchasing this kit.  Al Gore will be proud of you.

Cost of mailing?  $1.  That is right.  No matter where you live, the cost is $1.  One buck.  One simolean.  One greenback.  That's all you'll pay.

Important note:

When it comes to camera repair / maintenance, buying the proper light seal material is of great importance. In fact, buying the wrong material is not only a colossal waste of money but also a needless mistake that could cause permanent damage to your camera.

The foam used in my kits is all made for me by the same manufacturer, and that is very important.   You will realize the excellence the minute you feel it, and you will never forget this foam.  To be certain I have any thickness a camera might need, here is a lineup of the materials I have made:

~Tiny Bubbles!~
For a more perfect camera sealing foam, you need three things: Tiny Bubbles, Ease of Compression, and quick recovery after compression. And my foam has it all! Take a very close look:

~The Free Tool~
There are two working ends to this simple but handy little tool, designed years ago from input and suggestions of customers and made with a machine I created. It allows you to clean and work on your camera more easily and with less danger of damaging paint.
This simple tool has been copied by people all over the world, but there is no substitute for the original.

What Comes With The Kit?
  1. top and bottom side seals for the film door
  2. the film door hinge seal -- two styles so you can choose which you prefer
  3. the film door latch seal
  4. two "Seal Strips"-- non-adhesive strips I created which are used to seal the long thin body slots
  5. the instructions
  6. the bamboo tool
  7. you really do get all this for only $12.
