 Postcard:  Police Comic.  At Bangor  "A 'Special' on Night Duty." by Biggar.   

This postcard is published by E. T.W. Dennis & Sons, Ltd. London & Scarborough.  On the rear of the card is the No. 4805. and is signed L. Biggar on the front bottom right.   

It shows a picture of a Police Special, wearing his pyjamas and duty band. Pacing the bedroom, crying child in arms whilst the wife sleeps soundly away. It has 'At BANGOR' at the top of the card. On the wall is a picture stating 'Peace to thee this Night'  - if only poor chap.
 
It has the legend:
 
                                           "A 'SPECIAL' ON NIGHT DUTY"
   
This postcard has corner knocks and is in fair condition, postally used and dated 1st July 1919.  
                     
      Interesting piece for the collector of Police Comic, Police Specials, or any other police enthusiasts.
