You are bidding for a metal/porcelain/metal vertical antenna mount, the whole unit measure 70 × 230mm maximum. The bottom, metal section is round measuring 70 × 40mm made from aluminium. The centre section is made from ribbed porcelain (see picture) whose maximum diameter is 70mm reducing down to approximately 50mm, over a distance of 105mm. The top section is made from aluminium with a collar of 55 × 22mm and then reduced down to 35 × 66mm with the top section having a wing nut and clamp arrangement which holds the base of the vertical antenna, whose diameter needs to be around 25.75mm and dissapears into the top section do a distance of 57mm. There is ample space on the bolt attached to the wing nut to mount your antenna cable.

If my memory serves me correctly this was originally used by the navy on board ship to house their vertical whip antennas – which I no long have.

The base is in very good condition, very robust with no characteristic chips on the porcelain.
