THE MIDWEEK BIRTHDAY CLUB - 2007
CD album - POG7
There has, at the time of writing, been a new band Pog CD in the pipeline for months. It's now nearly finished, but in the meantime I found (lots of) time to put together another solo album, mainly consisting of quieter and more gut-laden numbers. That said, there is some more full-on stuff to, as I had access to the instruments belonging to a whole household of musicians. At the last minute I decided to do a Bergerac influenced reworking of the age-old Pog song Faces At The Window. And I managed to squeeze a couple of minutes out of the dying piano in the hallway for an instrumental piece.

My worst midweek birthday (and, being born in cold and dark December, there's plenty to choose from) involved gastroenteritis, driving rain on an industrial estate, and a pub outing in the evening that no-one wanted to attend. Least of all me.
